A Bittersweet End- And Beginning!

Well, I suppose the honeymoon of a lifetime is over. It’s bittersweet. We are on out way to Word of Life Florida to work summer camp with the STC program and we are super excited! We have been praying for this summer for quite sometime and it is so cool to see who the Lord brought back to camp this summer, and how He is orchestrating the perfect staff and program to accomplish what He wills. Jordan is going to be working as assistant coordinator with the STC and I will be his assistant, also  working with the STC unit leaders. We are muchoooo excited and looking forward to seeing how God is going to work through both the STC program and the SIC staff.  I believe the motto is “BEST CAMP IN THE UNIVERSE!” I can attest, this is my 5th year back! We would appreciate prayers for this body of believers coming together to reach thousands of campers this summer. Updates will come!

We are in North Carolina now visiting my parents. We spent all day packing up wedding stuff and unpacking honeymoon stuff AND repacking summer stuff. Jordan has been scanning and packing books all day long. It has been a long day and we are both pretty tired of packing and tired of driving. But press on we shall. Yesterday we made the treck from Schroon Lake NY where his parents put on a post-wedding reception for us. It was such a wonderful time getting to know all the people that have had such a positive impact on Jordan throughout his life and those who have prayed for him for his lifetime. Thanks to everyone who was able to make it, and to the Bush’s for the beautiful reception. Mrs. Bush made a KILLER cake, beautiful and delightfully tasty. I wish I had more photos from the night, but unfortauntly I do not. I only managed to get pictures of Luke and Jordan fighting while we were in NY. HM.

Going to bed, we have driving earrrrrlllyyyy tomorrow! Night all!
