Lavished in Grace

Our road trip ended in Stevensville, MT near Missoula MT at a beautiful ranch called Burnt Fork Ranch & Ministries. Our friend Luke Lacey connected us with the owners of this ranch and offered a cabin for our honeymoon. They have facilities for couples to come and spend time away from everything giving them time to reconnect with each other, and with God. We saw pictures prior to our arrival and they did no justice to how wonderful this place was.  To give you an idea, here is their mission:

We BELIEVE “There is a real place for the IMPULSIVE and spontaneous, the LAVISH and impractical, the heroic and EXTRAORDINARY, the unrestrained and incalculable bursts of GENEROSITY that cry out…… “It is right to give your thanks and praise to God.” The Ragamuffin Gospel by Brennan Mannin

We believe our gratitude to Jesus is in large part our service to those around us.

Insofar as you did this to one of the least of those brothers of mine, you did it to me. Matthew 25:40
By the grace of God they accomplished their purpose and the Lord was glorified in the service and love that we received from their ministry. We praise the Lord for his provision. As newly weds did not expect to have a month for our honeymoon and we especially did not deserve the opportunity to stay at such an amazing place, but God had lessons to teach us about His love and grace, and we have learned a lot thus far.
